A collection of comrades to delight and heal.

The Hooligans are thermoplastic sculptures that represent emotions and illnesses and depict them as monsters – not monsters that are frightening and overwhelming, but as monsters that are cute and manageable. Depression is shown on the left and Anxiety on the right and were the first creations of artist Audra Balion after she was diagnosed with these conditions. They were her first steps to returning to her art and she hopes that others see depression and anxiety not as dominating beasts, but as something that can be managed.
